They work for money. What do you think ? They aren't some random people started a game for fun. They work in their field. They are educated people. 10kk pl0x most of the server owners barely able to talk English.

I am sorry but you dont get it. a good community will make money for a long time and ****** up community will make money and so soon nothing will be gained. Its okay to care about the money but do it in the right way.

They have figured out their mistake and now they are fixing it by giving out free prýmým for everyone. It's too late actually people had enough from SRO because of the end game, which most of the private server offers. SRO started @ 2002 ? Private servers appeared @ 2011 ? 9 years is long time as well. Wondering how many millions have they gained in that time >.<

Like I don't know that ? I've worked with the most greedy/stupid person ever (Which decided to kick me after finishing my job @ the root).
I guess Synx is not interested in SRO anymore, but he is doing awesome job @ his server. Other people don't give a **** about their servers, just about money. That was your point ? It's not their problem that, people are releasing new stuff almost everyday. So, they gain more and more.
Forget to mention that I'm working for Maggo from while to another. Also I was working in Plasma (as pk2 editor) So, I don't get mad really easy, always in a calm mood.
It's almost offtopic, cya I'm off to school.

Most of the server owners (An average of about 80 players a server?) barely earns enough money to pay the host.
remember people bots on the server too... About 5%-10% of the server will donate every month.
150 players would generate (with an average donation of 20$) about 140$.
A good host costs about 200$+.
But people who hosts from their home PC's & doesnt even bother activating at least a ****** host doesnt deserve any profit.

Ya but when they have the possibility of making some cash over silkroad files they won't even take a look about suggestion players and bout' a good host, most of the server owners don't get a really good host when you go to their server, there's delays people are complaining about lags n stuffs like that.
I remember about the new infinity sro (100pvp server) by leprachun or somethin' he made tons of cash and he managed to host the server at home.
