about a year ago this silkroad section was seriously active and alive, seems like releasing the files ****** the **** out of this place

Yep, i don't have fun playing SRO anymore.
Even PvP is not interesting for me ...

We need a server with new features which was under development for some months

me neither, i was like freaky addicted last year, but silkroad has lost all of its value after the release

this could be near to become true as some map editors, client APIs and other stuff are being developed

Well just that it takes long to make a "almost" Bugless one like Grindroad.

thats true, but takes a lot of patience to code an emu, specially with 0 bug(major) aside that must will become "Pay me or gtfo"

Grindroad was faaar from bugless.... it was mostly filled with features, but buggy as hell (you would notice if you played around a little bit with different packets)
There was an emulator existing (Id say the official silkroad had more bugs than that emulator, still has a bunch of bugs & exploits...) while Grindroad emulator was still popular
Not as many features though, but alchemy, autospawn, 2500+ clients without any problems, skills (& all of the effects / chinese), aggro.. stats.. etc etc
It was coded by 1 person and he gave up on it as it seems

Start playing on a low droprate server, where you have to farm elixirs.. elements... sell stones to earn money.. and stuff like this (thinking about 10-15x droprate)
You'll get the "old" feeling back, believe it or not.
The game is about getting to the top, not being at the top
once you get there it gets booring and the game feels pointless, thats what pretty much every server creates after 1 week of playing

Leave that alone, and what we've got? A lame D12 server with nothing really decent that stands out - I can't be the only one thinking that PlaySRO offers nothing really great, except a big player base to play with.
