No you didnt do anything with SRemu, and you cant all that a server, a server is actually complete and fully working, SREmu hasnt. So before you start criticising our project please just take a good look at yourself. Me and most of the teams have exams and im sorry but i think you would all agree that our school grades come before a game. We did put the project on hold for a couple of weeks but now were all back and working on it. Setting and running a server isnt as easy and you think, its not like just running a emulator with takes 5 mins its more complicated than that.

So if you dont believe in it just leave, we dont need you. The forums are for true members that believe in it and that help other members, not people that dont appreciate anything.

These guys are welcome to use it. It won't be fully functional but as they're looking for programmers, filling in the missing bits shouldn't be difficult. I'll have most of the basic stuff implemented though.

As I said, I offered my help if they'd agree to go open-source (primarily because using srvc would be hella easy :>). It beats outdated binaries and the framework can probably support in excess of 3500 people, besides it will have channeling capabilities which no binary SRO has, not to mention more GM capabilities etc.

My abilities though, seem to be wasted on this community. These guys have their hearts set on using outdated csro binaries to host a server with little real control.

dont just say this and that but in the end its still useless.. no offence though but i think u just being jealous because u cant join the team.. plus stop talking nonsense, show us ur stuff (if im not wrong u say u had ur own pserver).. mod if he give link to his pserver dont deny, i want to see his PSERVER.. and maybe mod also can join and view his PSERVER whether its sound good like it was or just some kid making some big dreams.. at least u support their work because of trying to make a dream come true and not try to say bullshit just because of u can make something better then this team..

You really are quite ignorant. It's astonishing, really. SREmu is not srvb. I did not write srvb, I wrote SREmu, and before I stopped working on the old one it had some 20,000 lines of code in it and was far more capable than srvb. The new server I am to release shortly is even more capable than the previous.

Also, don't talk **** about your "exams" or grades or whatever. If you had to take 1 semester of the courses I'm in right now, you'd fail. I handle a 15 hour semester, 25 hrs/week of work, and make time to work on my projects.

Maybe you should gather a little more information the next time you decide to talk ****.

hmm don't know why your all doubting this server that its gonna fail, when its only just really started, and then you say its gonna fail.

The topic isnt all about graphics... I am the only graphics artist on the team, I havent really posted much in this 40 paged topic. So it cant be all about graphics... Graphics is my main role in this project, other members have been doing lots of work even if they have not posted it or shown it on here. Some of the members havent been able to do any work, as they cant really do anything yet, till the rest of the team progress in what they are doing, then their part comes in place

I spent a lot of friday, saturday and sunday talking with John about the project and planning, so dont say it isnt planned that just annoys me, some of us have wasted so much time on our weekends related to this. We had to plan things out like the team structure, prices, whats to be changed ingame, the order in which we do things all that in real detail, what can we achieve. I have been preparing content for the website when the server opens etc. Thats called planning ahead all this. So when the time comes we know what to do.

Ecsro is one of the most unorganised servers ever and the server files were pratically put out in front of them, it took them like 1 year+ to even put it together. We have done quite a lot in a few of weeks. You cant just really expect anything to happen that fast,,

Yes we did close the project cause we had exams but only for a week, which made sense because of exams, yes like you may think thats pathetic exuse but its not really, we just want to get good grades overall and to revise.

First I wanna say,you broke rule nr 1on`t try to act like a smartarse(remember that you used to ban this kind of people in your forums).
2.Dont expect to be supported in any way by just coming on this site and posting things that may be not true at all.
3.Yes ,I agree that you have done alot of work with SRemu,I myself enjoyed it and even tried to create some patches just to help you(useless tho,all failed).But maybe this team has got more into their hands then you belive.
4.Its nice that you tried to co-op with the team,but as you noticed they are not basing on a "emulator" based server,but real serverfiles +database.

Actually,I`d be happy if the server would be outdated,with no channelling,but working fine,rather then having a channell-ability server which unfortunetly wont work 100 % complete never,because you can never get all the packets in time.

I`m not good at coding,but still I`m expecting more from e-sro then from you.
And you can`t just come here,and start flaming everyone.You don`t like that to be done in your forums,do you?

guys why don't you make a sort of list what you already have done and what still must be done When things are finished sort of VINK them of the list so we can see al littlebit how the progress is because everybody is just asking for it because the website is down

just be patience dude.. if most of us here can wait (due to some exams and other problem on this team) why wont u also wait for it?? me myself also put high expectations on this project although im just giving some opinion and didnt help at all but at least the support is there.. if u keep asking and asking same question even when got people already answer the questions but u still asking then its just wont help at all but only messed more here.. eventhough maybe one day the project will end up with nothing but at least they try to do their best to make maybe not only for the team but forumers member.. whether its bad or good, just accept it..
it will be good if got euro race.. xD
