I play on Divinity sro and can't complain. There are daily events, but not only unique events.
Gm's do
CHN ONLY pvp events (chinese only)
Euro ONLY pvp events (havent seen but i heard they did it)
Non Donator pvp event (most common pvp event)
Donator event (for donators only)

Since someone can donate for egy b weapons and for set, its pretty unfair so they balanced the events. However, you also get rewards for events. If you kill the unique you can get something, last time i almost got a egy a +5 weapon, and my friend got an avatar for being 2nd in pvp event
