OT: I couldnt care if or if not the server files are released personally, but... What people are saying is true, you would have a whole "HY` MEN`Z I GOT FILE`Z ON DVD AND WHEN I PUT IN DVD DRIVER SERVER NO STARTZ" But thats normal even without me adding the stereo typical example. Theres many many games where sources / files are released infact in most mmos its pretty **** easy to set your own pserver up. But one things does stay the same with most servers. Only the ones who actually ever succeed are those who: Promote thier server, Maintain thier server, Update thier server with the intrest of its community, doesnt show signs of corruption, and looks like it actually has a future. Most if not all of what i mentioned comes down to the teamwork of your staff. If the files got released im almost 100% sure it wouldnt be members of EPVP who would benefit the most, it would be other PServer networks that already own servers like Aion, RO, Rapplez, ect ect.
