if files were released, the only money you'd make, even with a good staff and with a good management of the community and the game itself, would be a few $$ each month, so, yea, its better to keep it unique and private and make that good server and win some good $$ than releasing them and making a PRO server and get a few $ that wont worth the time you spent working/coding/configuring the server.

unless your friend is sup3r 1337 h4xx1rz who can crack latest iis version, don't even bother

Latest iis version ? the vsro server version is: IIS 6.0 , you think that the 6.0 is the latest version ? The 6.0 version is outdated version with so much vulnerable things but np bro.
