Edit:If the problem still exists then you should remove AVG.

i have deleted my antivirus and turned off my firewall but still i can't download neither from their site nor from here...something else is blocking it...

Does anyone have any idea what cuold it be?

btw i'm on Vista ultimate 32bit...

yes, i think its ur OS, my cousin has ultimate aswell 64 bit, works fine there. im on xp here works also great. ive noticed on the 32 bit it doesnt work well.. maybe u should try 2 use ur browser like IE or firefox with administrator rights?

tried running mozzila with admin rights...same problem...
