Hello, i want to start coding for silkroad
i have academic background in Software engineering and Math
and i would like some inital references to basic threads which will
point me in the direction of where should i start.

nothing to say for this, you have your own brain, no one will help you you have to do figure something with yourself i'am sorry but you're alone on this way.
My suggestion is just learn the basics, and read pdf documents publiced by pushedx you will get something useful there. gl.
