Basically i did that with skeleton edit, so i've not used tool from this thread..

about skeleton

Just a quick question. After i converted the meshes and import them with the textures in 3ds max what can i do about the skeleton and the animations?

with this tool u can't do anything with skeleton or animation. there's no tool to convert .bsk and .ban files from silkroad

No, u just have to use skeletons and animation that silkroad have, you can't create new.

You can't modify silkroad animation or skeleton, all you can edit is mesh.

Actually i said wrong, you can edit it, but just using HEX editor, you can edit some values, but you can't get full skeleton in some 3D programm. Thats how i made that fire blade, i edited some values of skeleton file.

I think something wrong with the converter, When I convert the original weapon it shows in blender but it's size each time is different.
When I try to login I get crash.. while it's the original weapon without any edits

Export settings was

-Selection Only
- Include normals
- Include Uvs
- Triangulate face ( tried with and without ) same issue

Import settings was

deselect everything except Keep vertical order ( Poly group )

is there something wrong with those?

btw Iam using US version and blender ver 2.63

Some Solutions that I have found:

Problem 1- The structure of the weapon shown while selecting character then crashs when login

Solution 1- There are something wrong in your 2D ( .ddj )

Problem 2- client crashs after clicking connect

solutoin 2- Actually there might be more than 1 solution

- wrong export settings you should select all of those
Export settings

-Selection Only
- Include normals
- Include Uvs
- Triangulate face

Import settings

deselect everything except Keep vertical order ( Poly group )

- Second solution the size of the weapon or whatever you edit might be big ( Iam not talking about Mega bytes ) Iam talking about Size of the structure it self

- Third solution might be missing bones ( which I didn't face till now )

- Problem 3-
You are logging in but you can't see the weapon

Solution:

- You must use the ( US support version ) of the converter
- You should use blender ver 2.63
- You might moved the weapon during you edit to another space so it didn't display at the correct place

Others I don't know

If you want to import your .obj file to blender 2.7x simply click:

File->Import->Wavefront

and done. no extra plugin needed
(this is only if you don't want to import your file back to sro, prob messes some things up; but if you just want to play with the 3d model this is your way)

Same for me, Walls, dragon in middle of JG, the house around the TP rock etc are all like this.
