FIRST OFF: ALL GUNS HAVE THEIR USE AND NO ONE GUN IS "BETTER" THEN THE REST. Other then Steyr Aug. Thats a useless gun.
THIS IS SIMPLY A LIST OF WHAT MOST PLAYERS CONSIDER "PRO" AND HAVE THE MOST VIABILITY IN ALL GAMES AND SCENARIOS.
For those of you who are new, here are the "general" thoughts on "pro" weapons.
There are 3 weapons that are considered "pro" and they are the ONLY weapons that were used in the national tournaments, bringing some validity to the claim.
ak74, m4a1 (Why not Galil or Fa-Mas? Explained later) and the PSG-1 (Why not fr-f2 or dragonuv? Thats later on)

I don't say an94 becuase it is not allowed in tournaments. However, it is better then the ak74. Same damage but less recoil and more accuracy. If you don't care about tourny's go an94 over ak74.
Often considered the best gun in the game, once you have mastered burst fire and recoil control this weapon is a BEAST. In the wrong hands, it is ok for close range fights spray and pray.
In the right hands it deals excellent damage at ANY range (74 max headshot damage). It is very accurate, so why do my bulets miss so much?
Recoil! This is a 3 round burst or LESS at range gun. Crouching and shooting is quite necessary until you have COMPLETELY mastered the recoil.
The recoil on this gun is a typical up and down with slight left and right variations. The grouping is not fantastic but with quick bursts of 3 you should land at
least 1.
m4a1
With an incredibly fast rate of fire and really nice grouping this gun is very deadly in an accurate shooters hands. The recoil is a bit odd, will travel right or left
at will. However, if it shoots left, all of the bullets will group left and it will continue to shoot to the left, simply adjust your aim and you will drop the target
very veyr fast. With this weapon you run as fast as any other gun in the game and nearly as fast as knife allowing you to get into positions "rushing"
that no other player will expect you to be at. Often suprising players with their knifes out still and allowing you quickly dispatch them. At short range
simply shooting at eachother ak74 will kill you. It is the manuvarability and the ability to aim at someones head accurately that makes it great.
when encountering someone at close range with an AK "bunny hoping" or jumping while circling the apponent is your best bet. Short burst fire of a sniper
is VERy affective with this. More then once you will see a sniper at far range, and assuming you get a hit on him before he hits you, (This knocks his aim off) you will often
see a headshot kill before he does.
Why not Fa-Mas?
The Fa-Mas will kill faster then any gun in the game at a close range. Period. Its the fastest shooting gun in the game, with more damage then an ak74.
Here is the catch, anything but point blank range the damage drops to 4-10 damage a hit. So in close quarters its the BEST, however, you are not
always going to be face to face and in fact are very rarely that close.
Why not k2? Galil? mg36? etc etc?
All of these guns have their upsides and their uses. However, any gun that has one REALLY strong attribute, means its lacking something else.
A lack of universality makes the gun inaffective. If you can only kill a certain type of player, then your leaving the rest of the battlefield to slaughter you.
DONT GET ME WRONG! Alot of these guns are GREAT! I would use alot of them, im talking strickly in tournament play. I am sure you could even use
them in the tournaments. However, 5 years of tournaments in thailand and 0 of these guns says otherwise.
PSG-1
Less accurate, less damage, so why? The psg-1 allows you to quickly pick off multiple targets, or if you miss take your new shot before they get a chance to
slaughter you. Simple as that. You are not going to land all your shots and you are not always going to be up against just 1 person allowing you to line
up your shot and have time to reload afterwards.
Why not Fr-F2?
The Fr-F2 is more accurate with the same damage, however it has the slowest rate of fire of all the snipers. It allows you to move decently fast
being the lightest of the snipers getting into a position, picking one person off and moving on, but again, if you miss or you have multiple targets
you are more then likely dead.
Why not Dragonuv?
Although this is more viable then the Fr-F2 it is still overshadowed by the psg-1's RoF..but not by much. It deals more damage and is not horrifically
slower then the psg, also is more accurate with a much stronger zoom. So why not? It is slower rate of fire and is the 2nd heaviest gun in the game
That means if you want to move...good luck. This is a true campers weapon, and it performs that job VERY well. With a decent RoF and insane accuracy
and damage. I don't know enough about this weapon to include or exclude it, however those countries that have it still use PSG-1.

, btw you're right its not with the gun its within the player who use it wisely if that player uses it wisely he/she can be a good shooter.
