[TUTORIAL]how to create a mod!

Today ima Show you How to create a Mod.

Step 1: Unpacking
Ok, The first step is, Unpacking the Mod.
It Can be do as followed, With a Program, Called "SF Unpacker/Packer"
Created by Revenge (RVG), Or use the files manually..
I Mostly use it manually, but if you want it, Download it.


Go to your C:\ijji\ENGLISH\u_sf\data\weapon,
Select one of them you want to unpack.
and Copy it to your Desktop

NOTE: weapon_031.sff is from the GFX update, I suggest you take that one.

Now We need the Files,
In this tutorial we will do it with the manually files,
Download the files in the attachments and Unpack them to your Desktop
Now, Create a new File Called Unpack or Something, MAKE SURE ITS .BAT!

Make a new folder and put all files in it to hold it clean

Now Create a new file again Called Pack, Again, make sure its .bat!
Now We edit the first file, Right click on "Unpack.bat" and type the following:

@EcHo
 off
sff-parser unpack weapon_*.sff Weapon
pause

Save and Close it.

Go to "Pack.bat" and edit it,
Do the same but with this Code:

@EcHo
 off
sff-parser pack weapon_ANameOrNumber.sff Weapon
pause

Now Run Unpack, A Black Screen will Pop-up and Starting to unpack.

If its done it will ask you to press a button, do it
Now our Unpacked .sff File will be in the Weapon Folder.

Step 2: Editing the Files

Open the Folder and Find a Texture Folder,
Here you can change them, For example, I Will be making a Gold M4A1.
You will need the Gold M4 Texture, Ofcourse.


Delete the orginal and Rename the Golden to the normal one (sf_a_m4a1.jpg)


Step 2.1: Cleaning up
Delete all Files you wont need.


Step 2.2: Editing dir_list
This is the part that most people forget,
this is file is needed, the sff-parser reads it, and it knows wich files
are in the folder. But, if there is a file in it that doesn't exists, it gives errors.
So, we clean the dir_list and delete all lines that we do not have anymore.


Step 3: Packing
Now that we have done all, we can pack it.
Run Pack.bat and wait till its done,
after that place it in your C:\ijji\ENGLISH\u_sf\data\weapon
And go test it ingame
