Softmod Broken?

Ok, so me and my friend are both using softmod.

I logged out to start my bot and he is still in game botting...

I am trying to re-install sro and see if it works, but i think they have changed the way the softmod works

Anyway.. the point of this thread - DO NOT LOG OUT!! seems they only block you if you log out cos my friend is still botting

also what softmod Version where u using?? im using an old one and i wanna log out just to see if i cant use it... so tempted... lol

I have re-installed twice, my friend logged out and has no issues logging in, and i dont think he has the sm file but i tried with and without and it still doesnt work.

Im going to try an older version and the un-patched versions now....

Just a pain in the *** to keep updating it

ok, heres how i think this error works:

1) when you start sro with softmod, softmod sends an id packet of some sort to 0x33, which determines if your using the correct version.

2)IF 0x33 sends no reply packet, or a reject packet, the client displays the expired error

3)if your version works, sro will start.

so basically, while you were botting, 0x33 decided to update the "official" softmod version on their servers, which means when you log out and then try to re-login, it gives you the expired error.

i may be wrong though ^^.

if you pay for the bot (like your supposed to) you will almost never get banned. you are more likely to be banned with softmod than with plain isrobot.

ok guys alot have this Expired probleme
and i logged out and u will log out one day

format your hard-drive, re-install with windows vista, and then download softmod version 90a.

ok so regarding the top half of what he said..... the bot sends packet or w/e the **** to 0x33...... right there, this is elitepvpers people!,,,, **** 0x33 isnt there sumway we can take edit this program so it doesnt have to send a file to 0x33??? well sum1 think about it cuz i already tried.... it lets u log in for as far as i got with it.... just then it shows ALL skills as unknown.... so ya im S.O.L. and ill c whats up with all this tommorow
