Rsro lag?

Is it my net or rsro lags ? or is ito only on artemis server ?



btw hope most of english players play on artemis...

and yeah alot of non russians play on artemis

Seems like it's you, rSRO is almost 100% lags-free for me.
rSRO was and still the best version for me (in terms of ping).

Where are you from?
what's your internet connection speed?
how often do you make a spyware/malware scan (if you do at all)?
and more important, what's your ping to 212.24.57.26?
check put your ping to this IP (out of the game).

Click Start > Run (Windows Key+R for Windows Vista/7)
write CMD and press OK
in the CMD window write down:
ping -n 100 212.24.57.26
and press Enter, it will ping the server 100 times.
if at the end of the process your average ping will be lower than 300 and you'll have 0% packets loss, then you suppose to be fine.
if you will get too many packets loss and/or ping higher than 300 then I'll advice you to do some spyware/malware scans.

The point is to do this outside of the game.
this pinging process in riBot uses the same connection which you first connected to the game with.
what it does is actually sending the C>S ping packet (opcode 2002) and waiting for the S>C ping packet as an answer (same opcode).

That's exactly why he should check his ping OUTSIDE of the game.
in order to get true packets loss and ping, you have to ping outside of the game.

ok thanks guys...well my i was thinking it was my net cuz it sucks... dl speed 100kb/s...anyway average ms is 192 lol max 1935 and min 88 .. i lost 0 packets ..
