Is boting ilegal?

I want to know is boting is legal or not. It is a basic question but I dont know it.

If a create an account and I pay for the bot, am I doing something ilegal. I know that my account (in the gamed) can be banned, but my question is if this action is ilegal or only a trap without any legal importance.

It is legal to use the bot program, because it is a legal software. But it is illegal to use a crack on it to make it run without paying for it. But if you pay for it, it is completely legal.

However it might go against the rules of a game, causing your account to be deleted/banned. But I don't think you can get sued for it tough.

With the bot it only takes, what a month, month and a half to get a high lvl character...

They will continue to ban their 3-4 idiots per server a month... (Keep in mind, By Idiots I mean the people too stupid to know how to configure their bots, Cuz those are the ones getting banned)

hmm,permanent block? if its a GUID ban or IP ban,that would be easily resolved by a proxy or hardware spoofer....if it simply bans ur account,then ur screwed,lol...

I'm afraid it simply bans ur accounts lol, you're more talking about call of duty and that kind of games, that's where they ban your GUID and IP

no but seriously, don't you think having a program do work for you to earn great levels and riches in a game is legal...NO. But its the risk you take to become the best yo. its all worth it yo.
