Silkroad Arabian / Islam Race Information

Silkroad 2 is to be released, which has the Islam race.

For as far as I can tell it's browser kinda game.

I'll post everything here once Joymax finishes the update, and I get back from work.

there IS a new race coming but as far as the official news posted, it should come in early 2012

Says no such thing on the main site, not that their is one, nor that they are gonna make one.

People are saying that the're making one cause they read something in the pk edit of the client, that doesn't mean its 100%, people say a lot of things in general, and its bullshit mostly.

Yea i did look and they dont say that they will be developing islam, or that there will be such a race in the near future.

Just cause you saw a forum post from a dreamer, doesnt mean its true.

well. it's not only Turks who will Go to Islam Race Maybe Alot of other Arabians too, i'm from Egypt and Egypt is 90% Muslims and 10% Christians But i think Even Christians Will go to Arabian Race cause it's for all of us, But For me i'll Never Leave my Friends Of Europe, I'm Muslim But it's Not necessary to play In Islam Or Arabian race, and you won't Like to play alone Just Euro or China We need To play together, that what i think...so what do you think guys

I couldn't get it, what does a religious view got to do with a game???You are taking it so far.

Have something against Egypt or not...This is spaming.

As for the topic, I wouldn't even think of raising an Islamic character or Arabian till some players test them and I should note that we must see there performance pvping and stuff...AND of course Ksro will surpass Isro and will release them first...I bet.

Arabian region update / Pet equipment

In the new kSRO client for the Legend 12 (Jupiter Temple) we found information about more upcoming stuff besides the Jupiter Temple dungeons. It mentions the area of Arabia with the city Baghdad!! (Yes, the City that was already mentioned months ago in a Joymax team meeting)

Arabia will include field regions with a canyon, a "military field" and some plain fields.

The Baghdad city will be very huge. It includes gardens, magic carpet sellers, and even a dungeon which could be in the middle of the town (it's in the same folder as the city!).

I have uploaded the already existing textures for the arabian region here:

More details like if there will be a new race for the region (the islamic race that was announced years ago) are not known yet.


Other stuff: Pets will be able to wear equipment soon. There will be new pet summon scrolls for Dinosaur, Bird, Bear, Wolf, Ostrich, Cat and Dragon. All those animals can be equipped with claws, saddles, charms, scales and amulets. The equipment can even be strengthened, a STR increase alchemy stone exists.
