Hybrid sucks in my opinion.
I have a member in the same guild as me and we made pvp.
I was 33 and he was 35
I'm a full str blader and he is a glavie str but with nukes (stupid -.-) so the final of the story, i've winned. Dunno if he is hybrid but has stupid as he is he is hybrid.
hibrids are very good chars only if you have hibrid int/str spear... many told about 70:70 bowman wonders, but yes, bowmans rule with sun bow, no matter what build... Anyway i have myself a hibrid int/str spear that can trow nice damage nukes and still tank good, with 11kk hp and 20kk mp.
