Uhm, no. Adding new set of armour is different than changing its appearance. You only replaced 3DO and DDS files. I ment to make particular armour look like a different one. In example: Heroic Adamas Protector look like Legendary Legion Protector. Replacing files makes all types of Adamas, whether its heroic or dread look like Legion.
Anyway, I'm not sure if it will work, but you can try and change country in Item.SData for the mount and class that can use it. However I noticed that when database and client data doesn't match DB tends to be override any client data.
