yeah kinda that. I want simply to fix some bugs that Aeria will not fix cus of inexperience and lazyness. For example, after the patch of EP5 on our server all the debuff's icons are bugged and wrong. I rewrote the npcskill.sdata file and wanted to share it with friends without passing by LPH's tool, just that.

How do I fix this?

Just done it, but for me there are only 2 sites if I'm searching for "http://", the updater does work fine though. Maybe it's because we're using different EPs/Clients? I'm using the client Philliph uploaded.

Great guide though, also very easy if you know what to do, but not exactly.

You can use xampp for Updates ..

We have our first patch uploaded, all the URLs are changed but the updater won't display our site or force the new patch. Any help would be awesome!

Hello, I have followed your tutorial. Really nice and clear tutorial!
I am getting an error tho. I renamed the data.saf and data.sah to update.saf and update.sah.
I extracted it as files.zip and renamed it after to ps0033.patch because my CurrentVersion = 32.
After that I placed it in my own client because I haven't made my website yet.

When I log into the game and press 'Play now' I get dc'ed. (ERROR 0).

Is it needed to upload this .patch file to my website, or is there another possible way to get it running without using a website?

You can make sure your Updater actually updated by checking if your CurrentVersion is now 33 instead of 32, if it is bring it down back to 32 and look at your updater to make sure your files are actually being updated by watching your update process bar. After you made sure your updater does in fact update then you know its your files that you are updating. It is possible your files are corrupted. If you are using Shaiya Studio by Castor and save your files using it they save as encrypted files so make sure you don't encrypt them a second time. If not then make sure they are encrypted once and once only.

The second reason could just be a bad edit inside one of your files.
