[Exploit]Shaiya Auto-Updater bypass

Hi,

everytime you start shaiya with your game.exe the auto updater opens and updates your game.
if you want to stop this do the following steps:


1.just create a new shortcut on your desktop(name is unimportant)

2.as path we choose the following:

C:\Sonov\Shaiya\game.exe start game

(just copy&paste)

3.press "OK"

4.have fun playing the game without the autoupdater

(the game.exe uses a command called...to start the game!so if you create a shortcut to this command the game starts without the updater)

For Win7-Users:(if you have problems, like me)

1. right click on game.exe
2. goto "Create Shortcut"
3. right click on the newly created shortcut
4. add "Start Game" to the path box.
5. find the setting to make it run as administrator and check it
6. save and move it to your desktop.
7. done.

nope it doesn't...

but this only works with winXP & Vista not under Win7

Yeah it does, you just have to make sure you run the shortcut as administrator.

it says there is no such path...

This is what I do:

1. right click on game.exe
2. goto "Create Shortcut"

or you could always use my patcher tool. I've added options for this purpose.

k i always right clicked on desktop and created the short cut manualy...

i know its an old topic
but if you still have problems make a .bat file in you shaiya folder an write:

Game.exe start game

save it an execute it
