I suggest you read through the posts mostly by Sominus and Castor in 
You'll have to work at the WLD yourself a little, but it's worth it in the end. You can't keep relying on Castor or others to do all the work for you to be able to edit things with ease and no trial/error yourself.

Hi! i'm working on a server, and i've a liiiitle problem, okok...maybe a big problem.. idkn..
so
when i edit an item i follow all process (open sql, run the item sql file, import item.sdata)
but when i change the lv of some item,like an armor, i can't create (in game) that item!
i don't know how resolve this problem, just with the armor and weapon, with cape no problem... (maybe because i delete other same gear??)
i still trying...
(sorry for my bad english)

all right, i changed only the stat (without delete anything) and still work...the level of weapond need to rest the same.. i think... but i don't know why -.-
i'm waiting your opinion

If you 'delete' an item through the item.sdata then the row of data for that item wipes from the database as well once you import your script. This seems to bump every further item ID by 1, causing these errors. Don't delete your items, if need be, just NULL (0) all their data to make them useless.

Im having a bit of trouble with the 3DC files. i get that you can choose to hide a certain piece of gear but how do i know which piece im choosing out of the 2000+ facets? cani just highlight the parts i want to hide?
