Bare in mind that there is also a very handy stored procedure within PS_GMTool that can be used to do this as well. Upon execution of the stored procedure, all that is needed is to enter the UserUID of the recipient and the amount of points to be added to the account.

Note, that I said ADDED, not placed. The difference is that with the above query it will give a specific number of points rather than adding it to the amount of points an account may already have.

Basically, use the query above to give a specific amount. Meaning, if the point recipient currently has 10K points, and you run the query to give 12K points, it will over write the 10K in favor of the 12K.

However, use the stored procedure in the GMTool database and it will instead add the 12K to the current 10K, thus the recipient now has 22K points.

Example:

With Above Query:
Points (BEFORE QUERY) = 10,000
Points (AFTER QUERY) = 12,000

With Included SP:
Points (BEFORE EXECUTION) = 10,000
Points (AFTER EXECUTION) = 22,000

If you are planning to run a live server, the said stored procedure will be a major time saver as it automatically adds the new points to current points, rather than leaving you to do the math manually each time a person purchases points.

Tie it all together with a bit of PHP, and you have yourself a handy lil item.

However, if I read the question right, I believe Castor's first assumption on what you were asking was correct, as was his answer. And that was how to set the cost of an Item Mall selection to '0' points.

You technically don't have to run the procedure. O.o Just use a quick query like this:

UPDATE PS_UserData.dbo.Users_Master SET Point=Point+AmountOfPoints WHERE UserID='AccountName'

That will simply take the points that are currently in the column, add the AmountOfPoints to it, and set it in place.

Like, UPDATE PS_UserData.dbo.Users_Master SET Point=Point+500 WHERE UserID='Tyler'

Would change the account named Tyler's points from let's say... 1429, to 1929.

saving as csv is achieved by LPH tool, no reason to duplicate the feature.
saving as sql is performed each time it's required.

Bahh.. I would like to save the content of Light-Dark-Weapons, Light-Dark-Gears, Lapis..into a database. I dont want to copy past all the info into wordpad :x

It was just a matter of trying to provide more detailed information and alternative methods. Next time, I wont try to help at all.

Personally, I dont know Veritas so I have no idea what they do and do not know. One area many things around here lack is detail and example. I did not realize it was frowned upon to try and do such.

Yes, you do not need to run the procedure. I pointed it out only because not only does it save time from writing the query, but it can also easily be tied into a PHP page for quick and easy access without the need to actually be on the server.

in my first response to his "0 pt question" I dealt with the Point column of the PS_UserData.dbo.Users_Master as a complementary information possibly useful for his current researches / works; just because when I needed this information (where these points were read), I searched for days without finding any answers.

I'm somewhat less convinced that there is a lack of examples, or I'm not sure that an example with the 10.000 and another example with 500 (or 1429) are that required - I hope guys reading such thread knows what is an addition.

your points regarding stored proc are exact -III-, they can be useful ... but NONE of them are documented, nothing in their source, no user-guide coming from our nice community.
for a lot of basic request (quite all) rewriting the (fortunately basic) statement is far faster than opening each individual proc and trying to figure out its purpose.

And yes, I know there is very little documentation on stored procedures. I have taken my own curiosity for granted, and at times, assume everyone would have browsed through their databases to understand exactly what is done, what can be done, and what not to do. This is a flaw in myself.

However, anyone wishing to know further on the stored procedure I mentioned previously, feel free to ask.

I wish i was not coming back again, but here I am. I have noticed that my item mall is lacking some things that I would like to have in there. I.E. lvl 3 rems, lapisia, OP's and some soon to be created items. However, what i am having difficulty with is product codes. I can easily get the cash.sdata into shstudio; but, i have no idea what the product codes are.

For example, I would like to add power lapisia to the item mall. I can find the type and the typeID but im not sure what product code to assign. Is there a list of what product codes go to what or am i just nub.

Hi guys!! I'm trying to import mobs.csv but when I select the file and press open, the programdon't do nothing... the csv file is encoded ansi, and it's the same as the example....
What i'm ddoing wrong???
