If you are getting the Failed to connect to Game Error 0
1. Check to make sure the bat files installed the linked servers in MS SQL.
2. Make Sure your gamewar in uninstalled and not running.

I made this tutorial: .. I get everything perfect the green arrows on the patch server config but when i into game.exe put the user: admin and password: admin123 get when I click on nameserver and click ''OK'' get this message ''Failed to connect to game server''




I just want to play solo for my own amusement. I not wanna make public the server, use this ip 127.0.0.1 in server patch config. and the client is patched and using the ip: 127.0.0.1

Also i have teamviewer if you can help me. my msn is: .. i also be aware of the forum to see their response.

Working very well till end but when logging into game with "admin" account and trying to enter "ServerName" it's not working with error message:

failed to connect to game server

anyone know, what's wrong ?

to solve this error 0, you need to turn off' ''gamewar'' put the commands in the login /vchkoff and game /nprotectoff .. works! if does not work for you use the client 5.1

failed conect to server: wrong user and pwd linked sv.
use this cmd

edit admin and admin123 to your SQL user and pwd

ok i did everything and my server comes up but when i try to login with the admin and such it tells me invalid username and password i saw that stinka posted that cmd but im not sure where to run the .txt file or what to do with it. can someone tell me how??

nevermind i fixed it but now when i start my server up it disconnects after a minute or so. can anyone tell me how to fix it?

There is no difference between using SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008 so that is not needed

every time i install server i get [SC] start service FAILED 1056:

how do i fix it
do i have to set my sql to default when i install

what login name and password are they asking for? I inputed the one at registration but it wont work.
