how do you fix stealth?

Damnit...
I have set up the pserver, but something is messed up with my SQL so i get DC in about 5mins (vchk and nprotect off). Hope this time will be enough for tests...

BTW: there COULD be an alternative method: archer ele buff drops when you change / unequip weapon. If you could do it with the stealth, would be a bit help. Any ideas? (giving ele to stealth doesn't help, either)

would making it so if you change any kind of gear in stealth it brings you out of it or make it so you can't change gear?

no one who knows the actual process to debugging stealth will disclose that kind of information.

imho, this problem can range to all pservers. If exploiter can't do it on one, they will move to another. If pserver owners thought in the lines of open-source, any added benefit to the process will in the end benefit a wider majority.

If some of the developers would disclose some fixes to common problems, the exploiters would eventually move on.

Me along with a lot of other people really need this issue fixed, I know little pro knows how to fix but I tried emailing him and no return that should say no I guess.

I think the more people we get to post and more support we get, we'd get an answer

Well.. I don't think lilpro knows. The hack works on his pserver.
Edit: Just read, he told he patched it. And he won't share it

BTW: i never played on EVO, so... Does maybe Possum know?

Yeah, it looks like that. I actually hit the quote then had something come up at work so it had a little window where I had the quote open but not submitted.

I think lilpro did fix it, but I'm not sure why he would or should release it. He has done so much to get everybody here started with their pservers, I'm not sure I would be at where I am without his tools and such.

If he or anybody else has a fix for stealth, that is a good way to set your server apart from the others.

Personally I hope nobody posts a stealth fix. If you can't figure it out, come up with a clever way to work around it.

Yes, but you know... Let's think it over.
If you can't fix it, you can:
-Get more staff members to watch people 24/7, which is kinda impossible
-Disable stealth. This would VERY lower rangers skills, since stealth is one of it's biggest advantage. It would disable SA (or you had to edit it)
-Delete ranger class
-Let the exploit work - 1hit death, since noone has 30k HP

I know, he should not release it, his server has a BIG advantage, but hope dies last
