3ds/ddf files , This is good for editing shaiya models buy
editing the vertex points to simplify any model to fit your needs.

He also shows u how to import an export.

Not really gonna help, why i already know because someone has successfully done there own model, this is not the tool you should use, Try to look for 3rd model program all you need but i do love the model he did was chainsaws.

well this shows how u can modify it in 3dmax but the problem will appear when u reimport it to data.sah
ur client will crash afterwards....

Why should it crash ? An how can i make it work ?

cause the created file "3DC" isnt compatible with the shaiya it is in another way coded as the shaiya 3dc file. u would need a converter for the shaiya 3dc file.

It's called get the mesh file of the structure of shaiya, you can do so i had code the stucture but i got mine working after time..

I tried 37463278563279436489273289046378563278467820743120 3 programs to save import convert 3dmax autocad 3dcobject osgedit and all the programms i foundo n internet... Notthing work and if it does the compression is still different from the one used on shaiya files..So...When you import back into data (as Teddy said) your game will crash or won't show them anyway.
