Server Disconnetion When Locking onto a Mob?

Hey guys, I am having a small issue with my server. Every time I lock onto a mob player, or try to link, I get disconnected from the server. I remember seeing a topic somewhere but I haven't been able to find it and I am getting quite annoyed lol. Any ideas? Any suggestions/help is well appreciated.

ur using an ep5 game.exe, you'll want to use an ep4.5 or 5.1 game.exe

Yes, I actually figured that out after sitting there thinking of the possible problem, got that sorted out now and everything runs fine. Just having a problem getting the EP5 maps to work, I put them into the database and restarted but nothing worked. Not sure if I am missing something else or need to fully re-install the database. Any suggestions?

Make sure your map.ini and such are configured to work with them.

I found that I needed to change the map base to 71 to get all the maps to run, but now altars, mobs, bosses, gate keepers, and other npc's do not work. I have updated the obelisk.ini even compared it to another and it looks exactly correct. I restarted the server but still nothing apparently changed. I am still going through everything to try and make sure I didn't miss anything but can't pin point anything.

Hey Psycho, i have had this trouble too, you need to update your [PS_GameDefs].[dbo].[Skills] table, its because the mobs try to use a skill on you, and the skill isnt on your table, and this causes the server to crash, we took some time to figure this out on Shaiya Rebirth but its ok now... its working great and smooth

Thanks for replying, yea we had the updated ep5 skills table, because we are able to use them in game, but yea I don't know. For now I have postponed EP5 until I can get it to work so we will release it a bit later. But yea I will double check the dbo.skills table to compare, so thanks for the tip.

A friend told me to put the NPCquest.data from the EP5 server into you client. Solved my map and GK problems. Enjoy.
