Shinru, I don't think it's appropriate to create competition for epvpers. We all grew to who we are now thanks to it. Besides, that forum is more for us and people who run own server than for everyone just starting, at least I act on this belief.

I'm going to have to agree, this may create competition and I wouldn't want that because if it wasn't for epvpers I wouldn't know how to make a server at all. Let's try and keep it quiet :P

Its not competition if theres a backlink, besides the whole reason we started this was to have a place for us to get together and develop. But we need to have people that can download and test the files, everyone should deserve an equal opportunity to have the same info as we do at some point or another. Wich is why i released my DB work, Now i'm not saying every server should be on the same level. There are, and will be things we hold back that we dont, or wont want out in the public. But, for the most part if it wasnt for someone sharing the server files to begin with then we wouldnt have p-servers. The community started being based off of this fact. If we dont share then someone else who has info we might need is less likely to share based on the fact that we didnt. PLUS THE DEV FORUM WASNT STARTED TO HIDE INFO it was started to share it. Remember when i gave you my DB ariez and shared with you my knowledge of SQL, and the files i created? Do you think you would be able to contrinbute like you do if i didnt teach you? Not being mean just reminding you.

epvp is supporting our request for a developer section here, there will be no reason to have the other forum.

Actualy i hope it does because there was effective and "ACTIVE" moderation keeping people in check.

Also there was an express of making a new forum thread breakup direction in lowfry post here...

- creating a Shaiya Private Server Development forum (pserver dev discussions & releases only)
- creating a Shaiya Coding Corner forum (like in the silkroad forum, all discussions & releases regarding shaiya developments)
- creating a Shaiya PServer Guides & Releases (like in the conquer online forum, pserver guides & releases only, no discussions, no questions)

I think letting the community decide is the best option here

p.s. elitepvpers does not support advertising similar sites to epvp, it doesn't make sense to build another forum if you aren't experienced with this kind of content, probably the most "private server" forums (or their host) would shut down the site by receiving the first legal complaint, elitepvpers don't.

Without "Active" Moderation it will all turn to (pardon my expression) Crap in no time at all.
