Error with items

Hey guys

Some items give me a "cannot use this item due to restrictions" message.

Namely 15 day and 30 day cont res runes and some nos.

Any ideas whats causing this?

If its when purchasing in Item mall then either your cash.Sdata has hex errors or in dbo you have an error on corresponding info.

Be certain a similiar item isnt running. ie: "7 day res rune"

Same applies for Item.Sdata .. make sure there isnt any errors in hex edits. It must be perfect in most values.

Note~ I rewrote my entire Cash.Sdata then made neccesary changed in dbo.. product ID, name, price, and items. ~Perfect~

You also recieve that message if your HM trying to use most res runes. Nos's tho I would suggest double cheking product number first.. then checking all hex values. Usualy recieve "no item on slot" if its product number tho.

It it from purchasing item or actualy trying to use?

Range in Item.SData is incorrect for Server Translation as it overflows. Checkout FixRange field and if it's 1 then add 256 to it.

Ok thanks possum ill check this out and see whats going on One more thing the Item Mall DC's you when you click it, any idea on whats happening?

Check the DB Agent logs to see if it lists any error, but I would say it's most likely because the Client file Cash.SData does not correctly match the Product list table.
