well i can't extract the whole shaiya server to my D: drive O.O..

i redownloaded the file and downloaded 7zip, but still the same prob =/. And i didn't move it around...

PS_SESSION log and PS_USERLOG same errors

It seems it cant connect to DB but if i try to connect SQL Server Management Studio i got np (User: Shaiya and PWD: Shaiya123)
im with xp sp3 and SQL 2008 trial (cant find 2005 orginal trial).
TPC/IP and Pipes r ok
I dont undestant what's wrong Oo... i read all posts but i cant find a solution... and then... u always speaks about this file "PSM_Server\PSM_ServiceMgr.exe" but my file is called "PSM_Server\PSMServer_Mgr.exe" that file i have only in client fold... could be that the problem? and how to solve? TY ^^

Ok i solved problem with a simple system reboot Oo but when i try to run game.exe (version 40) after the "sonov screen" this error message appear:

after 10 reboot all run until login then "client version doesn't match!". All Ip seems ok (i updated to last version, 69) Im desperate!!
My password textfield is not "case sensitive" is it normal? The log works with admin123 and Admin123 too Oo

Could be simple the installation... it's very well explained but the world is full of nubs like me ^^
What about make a video tutorial? (sorry for spam)

with client version 40 and 51 same problem "Client Version doesn's match!" what's wrong?

Hmm i can't make game.exe to launch game tell me c:\AeriaGames\Shaiya\dame.exe is not valid Win 32 aplication

I think ur problem was born when u changed ip in game.exe... u have not to change the length of file... replace the free spaces and u solve the problem.

My problem is still "name already taken" Oo WTH I tried with version 40-50-51-55-69 same problems in all version... when i try to make a new toon it tell me "name already taken" or something like this... I could create a new toon directly in DB but i dunno how to and overall it's not a good solution... anyone for help? TY

im not sure but seems u taped wrong ur user or pass... if shaiya user is created use "Shaiya" as user and "Shaiya123" as pwd... if doesnt work i think the user was not create. Try to connect with system user

Ok finally i see people helping eachother in this topic, so i decide to help a bit too. The client version error comes up because you didnt do /vchkoff and /nprotect off.

Baldracca, about the any login any password thing, and name already taken problem...,i had this problem before, i got this problem by f*cking around to much with the server files. the only solution i know, and what i did, is to make good backups if you need them, delete the server files, empty the database, and start over. You already have the files you need, the knowledge you need, it wont take long to set it up again, once u done it before, the second time only should take about 10 minutes. I hope this helps you...
