Help with Chainsaw

Good morning, I have been working on getting Chainsaws into a private server I'm working on but I'm having trouble. The 3do file I have now is encrypted and I just can not crack it, Hex Editing isn't my strong front. I have everything ready to go besides the 3DO files. I'm wondering if there is an alternative way of decrypting the 3DO file, or if someone can provide a new Chain.3do file?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you for taking your time to read.

Is this Chainsaw taken from Throne Evolution server?
If so, just get your **** straight and try to do something by yourself not stealing.

I guess archjeho doesn't have the .3DO file, which he wants to import from another game, which possibly has it encrypted or in a different format. If my assumption is right then you need to look for TeddyBear94's tutorial on how to convert weapons from other games. There's a program called 3D Object Converter, that's what you need.

And taZ, stop acting as if Shaiya Throne uses solely their own content, that's far from the truth.

But at least they didnt steal this one. They have the files from Exile, correct, but the owner sent him the files.

nubness you know alots of thinks but makeing chainsaw working u kinda need to do alots of stuff
servers who have chainsaw weapons = Original from Exile which Blitz gave them to be BECAUSE he wanted to! Not coz i asked Like 6-7 mounths ago
And this little guy just stole them from Shaiya Throne or Exile.
he took JUST the 3DO and the DDS but the main problem and thing IS he needs to put some work to make them working for HIS server OR much easy and faster : useing OUR Client

just think : Shaiya Throne HAVE and allow SHIELDS for ALL Classes and this thing to working reuqest alots of edit
( Spend 3 days to fix it and i wont be happy to see 1 server using it)
When i will share or release i have anything agains it until that
WE copy OS : MY Work will remain MY Work and who copy my WORK will support the ..........

they are NOT encrypted.
if you're dealing with the new robots weapons, they use a *new* format.
Use to convert them to the former format.

in order to use its *2* hands, a toon shall know how to use ... 2 hands ... (hard challenge isn't it).
so the sole thing to do is to provide animation #23 to #29 (*) to the classe that would equip a shield.

this point was discuted there about 2 years ago, and since that date Shaiya Xtreme does provide shield for all classes.

so if you are simply using a 1-hand sword or 1-hand blunt with a shield, whatever the class, there is nothing new. ooh (!) if you are using (for instance) a shield and a reverse sword, I'll be glad to congratulate you (such combinations is prohibited by the server) since it would be something new.

btw, this means that the "shield for all" option is actuallty a "shield & 1-hd sword" gameplay for all ... not sure it makes the game more interesting. A shiaya-BP is not an Aede, a ranger is not a tank.

Thanks for admitting that my knowledge in development is pretty big. I can assure you, I know what's required to convert weapons from other games, and it doesn't require that much effort. And why are you saying your chainsaws are working ? If you look carefully, they have no animation, which makes them less dangerous, you can't even chop wood with them.

Speaking of your shields for all classes, which took you a relatively long time to implement, why don't you sue Shaiya Haven for having the same thing ? Maybe they have a time machine or maybe they've just foreseen the future and stole your shields. This is pathetic, you need to find ways to prevent people from getting the content of your clients, instead of having the download option on your website that lets everyone download your open-source Shaiya development materials.

And, consequences ? That's the word you replaced with dots in the end ? Those nice chainsaws and shields for all classes from Shaiya Throne will look just great on my local test server, I can't wait to steal them.

Nothing against you, Apollyon, but again, we're all on the same level, none of us has powers over someone else, no matter how many zillions of bots you have at your command.

if i wanted to hurt ppl i was doing it but as you may notice everyone is doing everything they wants.
For your knowlage i never touch any DDS or ANI or 3D files ( envotion was doing all the work) since i fired him i took all the responsability and i'm realy happy of my progress , because i did alots of stuff which i never think i will made them.
As far for heaven i did not know they are useing shields because i don't log on others servers.

But saying 3 days is aloot for someone who did not know anything about DEV ? i think you are trying to make the smarth guy here which i don't understend it.

About chainsaw animation, yeah they don't have but don't ask me ask the person who made them or got them ( Blitz)
About Shields, for all classes was working fine, single clas who was kinda hard to do it was for Hunter/Archer.
Rest of classes was getting Shield animation and was prety easy to add shield but for hunters no, so i had to use the brain.exe

Anyway you go back behind of your PC and do more release

Quite of a failed attempt to insult me.

Speaking of the chainsaw animation, it was obviously a troll, not to mention that .3DO models cannot even have an animation.

And I won't go behind my PC, I WON'T. It's full of wires back there, and I might get lost. I think I'll stick to being in front of it. I mean, I can't really make any releases just by messing with some wires, can I ?

So I checked around and there isn't Chainsaw files released and not many people can get the 3D Object Converter to edit/get the weapons. Anybody could release 3do,dds,animations files so there won't be any drama for stealing the work from other servers.
