[HELP]Ports and more +

Ok so I got my ports forwarded in my router and on my computer etc, ya know whats needed. I have my IP in their proper places. The IP 192.x.x.x. game.exe etc.

But for some reason I can only connect. Is there anything Im missing?

Ports forwarded in router and in the outbound/inbound rules for ps_game etc are there, is there another place?

I have them in the ini files as needed, server patch config mgr and game.exe. What other places are needed?

Just to avoid the question "Well be more specific" if you can list every place they are supposed to be so I can go make sure.

This is the final step before closed beta and this is blocking it.

Please help a soon to come server come to life

u must setup the server on your global ip not on local.Go in ps_game.ini and change

GameName=servername
GamePublicIP=you-public -ip - here
GameVersion=0x00000000

<- to find your global ip.
and put same ip in game.exe in client.

u sure u forward the right ports ?30800 and 30810?and are u shure 198.x.x.x is your global IP and not the LAN network IP ?

Yeah Im sure, since a Dev I know double checked it for me (Hes been dev'ing since EP4.0) he says they are right, but he wants to look further into why it wont let people connect.

I post here to look for help when hes not able to get on.

The IP used is the 192.x.x.6 IP. He says it should be right, but Im questioning both our judgement xD

i have a server on my pc too but im not using the ip 192.x.x.x. im using my pubblic ip from here 2.x.x.x (or what ever it is) in my game.exe and ps_game.ini with the ports opened in router for the ip 192.x.x.x (cmd /ipconfig) wich is the ip of your pc only

Friend that had his own server up long while back (Closed last year) did it like that but guess he did something else for it to work, not sure what but hell thanks Andr3 best answer right there +1 you bro.

EDIT: /request close, just made the changes and me and the staff can connect now.
