[Search function = waste of time]

I have searched and searched your forums for 4 hours. I'll find threads but no post fixes, so don't tell me to search for something that doesn't exist on your forums please. How hard is it to post a SS of the **** problem? Are people wasting others air by living?

Now for my problem, I get a DB attach error saying it cannot attach "Unable Open Physical file ?:/?/PS_Userdata Operating system error 5: "5(Access is denied)". (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 5120)"

Don't waste peoples time posting saying to search for it, thats not helpful for some errors cause some post fixes are being deleted some help file posts are being deleted too.

If someone knows a fix i'll label you a *** for even posting a fix. You'll also be deemed better than 80% of any other poster on this entire forum.

Edit: Also, it's for the whole Database. All files get that error, not just that one. used as an example.

!!!!@@@@@!!!!!EDIT #2: Thanks to a Skype contact there is a fix for this. (I never had it thus knew of no fix.)

If you get that error people. you need to reinstall. don't waste time using search function, since most posts dont show full error message or people just say use search function, gets quite annoying and is thoroughly UnHelpful. Hope what I found out (Cause never had this before) helps anyone in the future.

P.S John, can you update the index info to some more posts? Theres broken DL links in some of those posts. If you do thanks bud.

In some case ( if had the DB on another PC/Server ), you must setup the Rights for your logged in User Account. Then it might work.

this problem sometimes appear if u use a db that was made for example sql 2012 and u want to use it with sql 2008. some dbs can only work with a special sql version
