Why another pirate game?

I am Serene, I love Pirate themed MMO games. I greatly enjoy PvP in games and am sick of Pay 2 Win. While there are many pirate themed games out there, I have a passion to build one that encourages player interaction, pushes the envelope by adding new features and content that have not been seen in this genre. I tend to gravitate towards games where playing the game enables you to get stronger. My professional background is as a software engineer and architect, so not only do I enjoy designing a game, I enjoy all the technology and aspects of building and delivering it!
