[Help] Resource Tools

well I recently started using it and I only got the first steps to work.
I exported the file, changed it... What do I do next? Do I Import the file? Will it work? I tried to, it doesn't x.X

I would like some help, or a guide or even a nice PM if you feel like about how all this actually works.
