Pro Assemblers Disassemblers etc...

I'm working on cracking the parameters on s4... just curious if one could give me a hand seeing as I have no idea what I am doing XD but I think I know what to do...

I think that the missing parameters would be the language values... and if they aren't you can easily bypass the no parameter message and get the client to start, but you end up with a version of s4 running in the original korean language...

here is some stuff I will post then if you are pro at assembly or know what to do maybe you could help me XD

this is where you replace the JNZ commands with JMP to jump over the error messages

looks like it has something to do with the language control...

bypassing this results in an s4 that starts hack shield and then crashes

I assume they are set to "kr" korean by default because the game runs in korean when you bypass the no parameters part

and finally these are the parameter errors... bypassing them results in the launching of the korean client shown in the first picture



I am working off of nothing... I only assume the language and region are the missing parameters because when you launch the patcher you select a language and the region is already set to EU by the patcher I assume... I also assume the language and region are the missing parameters because whenever you get the "RC" or "LAC" error you don't get the no parameter error... This is especially shown when you get the "RC" error because it doesn't show the no parameters error and it starts the hackshield and the version of s4 that crashes...

I'm pretty much a noob at assembly and have no real idea what I'm doing though, I could be completely wrong on this >.<
so if anyone wants to join me or if anyone who knows what they are doing could send me on the right path I would be happy XD

this window what is on the first screen will be in english! thats all! you cant login you cant play so the languageparameter is not the solution!

i ve even the hackshield bypassed! but this problem is hard to solve =/

but im working on that


edit: i did it^^ HS is bypassed, the client is in german and not in korean and i can login! but now its the same problem like before the patch11 you get a disconnect! but im working on that

but how do you change the RC and LAC
I know what they should be, but when I try to replace the kr section of code with the EU section of code it fails

and the same for LAC

I have tried just replacing the ASCII strings and tried replacing the whole code block to no avail...

but like I said I'm kind of a noob XD

I really just try most of this **** to learn
can you show me what to do?

when you open an exe with olly you can set arguments^^
the line under the filename line
write -rc:eu -lac:eng and you can start your exe without the launcher
then bypass HS and you can play 5minutes without any hackshield error then you get dced =/

I mainly just meant olly dbg and if you knew any tips about how to work with it better...

but if you know anything about hacking mine launchers,
and decided to tell me, I would love you forever XD
