some people are doing this wrong, so they will get a ban, peoples they do it right, dont get a ban

How do they do it wrong? I seem to be doing it right but maybe you can tell us what NOT to do when applyig this. Also when I change +1% attack to +11% and buy it... Will it be a somewhat valid purchase and will not restore upon logging out than in again? Even if it says attack +11%?
