eThreaten, a free HackShield downgrader! eThreaten will downgrade HackShield to a lower definition, and allow hacks that have previously been patched to run again!^ Hacks from older dates will once again function if their addresses are still correct!

^ as long as the hack was patched after the current eThreaten definiton

eThreaten currently downgrades HackShield to : August 7, 2009

If someone is able to provide version 74 update 0 HackShield files that were compatible with Jonyleeson's HackShield Killer, then, eThreaten will allow HackShield Killer to run once it has been update on the server! Therefore, you will therefore once again have a HackShield bypass free of charge!

USAGE
Windows 95 to Windows XP
1. Download eThreaten using the provided link.
2. Run eThreaten.
3. Turn eThreaten ON.
4. Run MapleStory or Combat Arms, and play.
* You need to be on a user account with administrative privileges.

Windows Vista and Windows 7
1. Download eThreaten using the provided link.
2. Run eThreaten as administrator. [Right click eThreaten, then, click “Run as Administrator”]
3. Turn eThreaten ON.
4. Run MapleStory or Combat Arms, and play.

NOTES
• Your hosts file must be editable [NOT read only]. If your hosts file is read only, go to it [usually "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts" or C:\WINDOWS\system64\drivers\etc\hosts"] and make it normal [not read only]. Programs such as Spybot Search and Destroy may automatically make your hosts file read-only.
• eThreaten will remain active until you turn it OFF. Do so by running eThreaten, and pressing the “Disable eThreaten” button.
• While eThreaten is activated, some parts of the Nexon websites may appear to be offline, distorted or incorrectly shown. To fix this problem, please turn off eThreaten and reload the page.
• Like all my releases, this is guaranteed to be a quality, 100% virus free release.
• Due care has been taken to ensure that this release is free from bugs and glitches that may hamper its quality. I have personally bug tested and fixed this to what seems to be a satisfactory level.
• Some special configurations of operating systems bypass the hosts file, which is at the core of eThreaten, and therefore, eThreaten will not function in those situations. There is no known fix for this issue at this current point in time.
• I have spent many hours on this release. PLEASE THANK ME IF IT HELPED.

the server expects a hackshieldpacket! of course you can find it but its not that easy
well for experts maybe its easy but i am just advanced^^
so i made a bypass but i get a disconnect after 5min
now i m trying to find the packet -.-"
