How can I stay unbanned from rust?

Got banned in January, I just came back and want to stay legit. I bought an account off g2g and I have 1.7 hours so far and from what I've read it shouldn't be a HWID ban. What other steps should I take to make sure me or my friends don't get banned (I'm working on changing my ip already).

Change IP when you can and consider temp/perm spoofing just to be safe. If you have a main account and want it to be protected use a temp, which will allow you to cheat all you want and just get banned on the spoofed serials

if you were hwid banned you would have already been banned. only thing that could happen is server bans if the admins of a server tie ur banned acc to ur new account
