Every time I call, I get a different answer, you can hear all the call center people laughing in a foreign language in the background and having a good time, none of them actually DO anything.

Change to another ISP that take your request seriously, then ask about having a dynamic IP with them and if it’s possible to have one that is only leased for 30-60min preferably or at max a day.

That way you can just turn off your router for the lease time and you will have a new public IP.

Fiber wouldn’t change anything, i would recommend keep having a fiber connection.

Most customer support do not even know what network you are part of let alone how different types work or effect you as an end user.

I think you just have to change provider until you get lucky.

It's also not like e.g AT&T has dynamic IPs everywhere while Verizon has cgnatting everywhere. I'm sure both these providers apply both these practices in different networks(areas) to some customers depending on the needs there.

I think that can be different from country to country honestly, I know that in the well structured countries in Europe, most people working for ISP, actually are well educated and most even have a long education to work these places.

But yes it’s all about trying to see which ISP can offer the things you need, but again I don’t think anyone should deal with incompetent people when it’s something you pay for each month.

I am European. Unfortunately the support is No better here. Many ISPs outsource their support aswell and its more customer service than technical support as for technical things they just follow guides and internal knowledge base articles. Many Also get commision on sales and such are not very focused on the technical part of the job.

I really think it differs from country to country tho, where I live you gotta have an education or at least have a lot of experience from other places to even be a tech support in at the ISP’s.

But ofc if you live in countries like, Italy, France or Greece I could imagine their support not being as well educated as these countries have a semi good infrastructure at best.

I´m sure it depends on ISP and usually the support is first and second line, then there is NOC and eventually infrastructure actual network engineers.
I myself am a network engineer based in Sweden and have been working with IT infrastructure for a while.

So will a AT&T 50 GB hotspot change my IP? Made a brand new GMAIL and Steam account and bought the game from steam store. I was playing rust with a brand new account and running reported.lol and got banned on Rustified main in 2 hours.... Didn't get one kill and got killed 7 times. I wasn't cheesing at the time, because I was wanting to get back into Rust without cheese.

I was confused when I got banned and knew it couldn't be the spoofer so I noticed when I disconnected my hotspot it automatically connected to my WIFI... Could my hotspot had issues or was lagging and it connected me to my WIFI without telling me?

I now turned auto connect to my WIFI off but skeptical because I dont want to buy the game again to get banned.

1. Make sure you do not connect to your wifi automaticly.
2. Check your current IP while connected to your hotspot.
3. Turn off your hotspot (If it's on your phone turn flightmode on for 10sec and off again)
4. Check and make sure you ip have changed.
5. reformat windows.
6. Buy a new account.
7. Use a new hwid seed on reported.
8. Make sure you are only connected to the hotspot before joining a server.
9. It should work.

Because they usually dont know or even have the power to assign you a new IP.
Try resivpn or use a mobile hotspot.

Call you ISP provider and ask them if you got a dynamic ip, and if you do how long the lease time for the ip is. Then unplug your router for how long the lease time is.
