Looking for a good vpn for Rust (Australia)

I dont really know how vpn work when it comes to bypassing rust servers but i tried using nordvpn and i have been server banned for using it i did some looking into to and im pretty sure i have to have a residential ip but the problem is with nord their residential ips are not in aus, so there is 3 questions i wanna ask

Am i correct about having to get a residential ip?

Would it be sus if i used a US or another country residential ip on a aus server?

And could someone recommend me a solid vpn for rust.
