Idea for free membership

I have been trying to figure out a good way to become a member for free. The only idea I came up with involves packet sniffing. I don't know how to do this, but I think it might work. If we could get the packet that tells the server whether to log you on or not (if you are a member), and change it so it says it's okay to log in. Are there any other ways to be a member for free that I haven't found, or do you think this might work?

Well. one..... Runescape doesn't disclose their packets
2. thats completely illegal
3. there is no way on earth you could do that....

1) That's why you use a packet sniffer. Nobody discloses their packets...
2) Hacking is illegal, lol
