Just as an FYI for those that think running a private server in any way shape or form provides the wisdom in determining the quality if a private server... you have it backwards.

The only people that can have any clue if a server is good or not are those that play on it.

It's pointless to create a server when there's already more than 5 of them. I've made 2 servers already, no point of telling which those really was. Also i've worked with other servers which gave me some expirence, enough expirence to know, that making rohan a money leecher is easy - high rates for everything, 1kk hp chars and go - have fun. The real dev work starts when u want to go in opposite way - balance the pvp system, let players enjoy the game, so it won't get bored after 2 weeks of playing, also not making everything too hard to obtain. I gave up on making servers cuz it requiers knowledge i don't have (editing MapID). As far as i've seen Chronos Rohan (atleast that's how thay called themselfes wanted to do exactly whan i desired to do, also they had the knowledge of editing .exe files so i hoped to 'leave' them my work and help in whatever they'd want, but it failed so i lost any hope. So that's how i discribed myself here, dubt u'd understand anything, nvm.

I think he understood 1 word in 5 of that. I would say that Rohan has reached its zenith and is now on its last legs. There are very few truly interested in making unique servers anymore. Can't blame them really. The ones that really do try and take Rohan to the next level get frustrated by all the "99 or nuthin'" players slagging them. It is hard to create a truly unique rohan if a large portion of the gaming playership wants nothing more than a cookie cutter server that isn't as expensive as irohan to play. Nobody really wants to make a "me too" server that is in it for nothing but a few dollars (pesos, euros, quid, yen... whatever money they want).
