if you want to make this server side you must LOOK FOR THE PACKETS OF THE +2 +3 +4 +5 +6 +7 and edit it to a success filter. Coz the reason why this filter is client side because the packets used here is only for +1 thats why if you logout your item will just recognize as upgrade to +1.

nope your wrong, success client , then failed server side, you wont see you character move, but success client, then success server side, it will move..

I think about hotswapping, but it has been patched. Do you think that on server with patched hotswapping - hotswap can be done using wpe?

Hotswapping won't really do anything. You need to edit the filter. I'm getting closer to it. I can feel it. Just need more funding. lol

was another post about this when i searched...
i didn't read too far into the 50 some pages, but it sounded like zhoe had this working server side. Hint was there are 8 packets, 1 for each tier, and it is a send packet that needs to be edited.
hope this helps for anyone still playing around with this. Might I suggest farming with a turret to fund further exploration.

I use the RE and i know now the secret packet for upgrading +6 of any item, what i want to know know is what is the packet for +7
Need to search ^^

from the original thread, it "sounds" like a few got this working server side by using a send packet, 33 bytes in length. The goal is to send a packet that will have high rate of success to the server, which will send you a success packet back that will also contain your character name information.
Biggest clue i can see was given thats on page 11 or 12 of zhoe's post is this.
-send packet (up to +3)
21 00 07 11 00 8B 00 11 00 75 00 00 00 6D 00 00 04 00 73 00 09 00 74 00 E0.....
to +5 the 75 changes to 8E, the E0 changes to 60...
now, its logical to think that since zhoe first talks about 8 bytes to change, that +6, and +7 each have different values here as well.. and they may be different depending on the item being upgraded and the talic used as well. You can see that 75 to 8E is not sequential in any way. Even if you are horrible with math and computers.
My next question, ONLY question LOL, where the hell can i find a copy of the server files for 2.1.6, hehehe
edit : highlighted the 8B instead of 75, though i typed in 75 in the text... more beers please

so i do it with wpe BUT if i use wpe with an elemental talic than send the packet for an iggy talic that will work too? or i have to send the exact talic's packet?
i ask cuz if yes i will trying with cheap ele talics imstead if iggys cuz if i ruin one i can start again and ele talics are cheaper :p and yea i hate farming and im a GREEDY BASTARD :bandit:
