OH MAN he's doing the same thing as all others and jacking NCarbons VB Source for that ultra crappy launcher they put out. I'm thinking about just releasing mine as it's ya know. Beautiful.



P.S.

Yes the start button is animated :3 This is about .3 versions old. As my up-to-date launcher is in my Failing Drive which is currently unhooked. The Options/Help button have been removed so has the 'Game/Login' status checker.

-The Fb/Twitter/Youtube buttons are completely functional and popup in your computers default browser.
-The News/Community/Rates & Tips all load dynamically from the Database instead of HTML links.

No bro don't take it as a bash. Just remember when making a launcher. A lot of smaller images need to complement each other. Via texture, size, location, symmetry and how the blend to each other. That launcher took about three days to get to that point. That's three days of constant visual tweaking in CS5. I'm hoping it may inspire you, VB is a fun way to build proggies. (Pograms - for the non-english slang users.)

BTW:

If you're getting an error when you try to use the Launcher, have you made sure it is inside of the Age of Rappelz folder? Because the VB (Form) or 'Launcher' is not programmed by default to seek a Wild Card location. It's programmed to seek it's 'Working' or 'Current' directory. (e.g. what ever folder it's currently in and was launched from.)

There is no way to accurately tell where the users Age of Rappelz folder will be unless you upload a new installer yourself and have an absolute idea of where the Launcher will be residing.

The only way I currently know of to have the Launcher throw an error that says 'This launcher is not in the correct place' is to program in a 'Current/Working' directory file check. So the VB Form (Launcher) will check it's current directory for say 'Sframe.exe' and if it returns 'True' then the program will launch. If it returns false the Form will throw error 'Blah blah blah this is an error'

Dont worry i wont ask you for your client just for some basic help with VB.
And ehm i dont know how to put it as an .exe in an other Folder i just used it throu "Debugger" in VB
