I made the "Servercheck Button" (If you push the button a window pops up that shows you the serverstatus)

How can i do that:

If the "Server is online" the oval shape will be green
and if the "Server is offline" the oval shape will be red

VB is enough to code a working launcher, why should it be a "noob" language. That's non sense.

Im not a programmer, but maybe this simple solution works for you.

You insert a red dot somewere in the background, and if your code reports: server is ok you just place a green dot over the red dot. If the ping test fails nothing will hapend and the red dot stays.

Was iSmoke vorher sagen wollte: Was macht dein Launcher um festzustellen, dass er im richtigen Verzeichniss ist? Er meinte, dass der Code nicht mächtig genug ist, um den Age of Rappelz pfad selbst zu finden, und daher nur testen kann ob z.b. sframe.exe da ist oder nicht, und dann entweder eine Fehlermeldung ausgibt oder nicht.

aber wie pack ich ihn in den ordner ich habs bis jertzt nur durch debugging gemacht

Du gehst in den Ordner "Projects" wo sich die Projekte befinden, öffnest den Ordner von deinem Projekt. bin/debug/DeinProjekt.exe.

Dann kopierst du einfach die .exe, das ist dann dein Programm.

Um zu überprüfen ob die SFrame.exe da ist, kannst du das benutzen.

"AppPath" wurde nicht deklariert. Auf das Objekt kann aufgrund seiner Schutzstufe möglicherweise nicht zugegriffen werden.

Oo Was tun? ich hab das noch nie gehabt und google hilft mir nicht weiter

wassen du für ein fail0r :' D

btw ich kann dir nicht direkt zu vb helfen allerdings

apppath beschreibt meiner meinung nach den relativen pfad zum launcher.

in c++ würde man ihr mit GetCurrentDirectory einfach in eine variable speichern und an der stelle abfragen

such in der msdn am besten nach der funktion da es sie bestimmt ähnlich für vb gibt.

Nein, benutze wieder AppPath, dann erscheint unter dem h eine Option. Klicke die an und wähle: "Feld für AppPath generieren" und dann funktioniert es.

Und danke hat funktioniert ehm weißt du wie man Serverstatus bilder einbaut ?

z.B Server on = Grüner Punkt
Server off = Roter Punkt

wie kann ich eine server status anzeige einfügen ? (nicht mein rappelz server aber ich mache für einen anderen einen launcher^^) also dass es angezeit wird ob auth and gameserver online oder offline sind? nicht wenn man aufm button klickt oder aufm label oder so dass sich dann nen extra fenster öffnet sonder das des direkt im launcher angezeigt wird.

So das ist eine Abfrage wo er erst den Server anpingt und schaut ob der server online ist, ist er nicht online wird wie unten beschrieben die Error messag angezeigt das er nicht Online ist oder in Mainantance ist. Sollte es funktionieren und du auf Start klickst startet dann die SFrame, der launcher sollte aber in dem Ordner vom Spiel sein.

danke aber ich hatte es schon , aber trotzdem nützliches script bei dir ich habs in start button eingefügt

edit: mit dem script (wenn man auf den start game button klickt der dann sagt wenn der server offlne is : the server is currently down blabla) braucht der launcher voll lange zum laden wenn man auf start button klickt wenn der server down is
