Ok I know you have tons of info and are probably working on solutions already, but thought I would add what I have had issues with so far.

Windows Vista Home Prem.
I get the positions without error before starting the bot I go to northwest corner of where I want bot to start get cords.. then to Southeast corner in about what would be a rectangular positioning get cords, I then log out of game open bot put in the cords, start the game and hit insert... After which here is what happens it dont matter if I turn on or off full health mobs I hit one monster run to next then hit another run to next till I have 100 on me and die... if there is nothing around the screen does not search by turning the char as in ver. 12.4 nor does he move at all it just keeps saying left left left. I tried doing the xp delay with no differant results.

Windows XP Pro
Same results as above

I am using ver 12.4 happily till you find time to work on your great creation.. and thank you for what you are trying to do to add to this already kick *** bot!!! can't wait to see the end product!!

I am able to find the pointers now... unfortunately I am unable to use the debugger on my Vista x64 machine.... but I am able to at least do a pointer search and I have learned that the pointers I have found so far are in static locations to a dynamic location of the character name. This is how I plan to accomplish this...

There are two static locations of the character's name in the game memory, so you can acquire the character name you are searching for from here. the .dll will use the character name to search the game memory for a dynamic address of the same name that also has our other static pointers.

the .dll will search the memory until it finds the character name with the pointers... I thought I had a concrete address (last 4 #s) for this, but I was wrong... I am still working on the fine details for this search. My current idea is to make sure you are targeting yourself and also use the Target pointer as a verification that you have the appropriate memory location.

once I have a .dll finding this information reliably... then bam!.... Most of the information I need is in static locations from this memory location. I have currently located:

Character HP
Character MP
Character Job
Character Level
Character JP
Character Job Level
and... drum roll.........
Target Name pointer

This is incredibly important. But all of these values are static to a moving value that is easily found. I am currently still working on more pointers... I am currently working on weight, target HP, pet information, and target/your location. Once I have completed this I will work on buff and their timers.

Ideas...
Suggestions...
help?
Anyone know how to make a .dll that probes an application for information? I have to research this so I can make it.

Problem #1... the camera does not turn on the moving version of the bot... I disabled this feature. It is impossible for that version of the bot to know what direction the camera is facing if it is moving it.

Problem #2... The moving script only works on x64 systems. All of the mouse clicks that move the character are blocked on 32bit OSs. I am unabvle to get the movement script to work on my 32bit systems... Vista and XP.

My current project will eliminate most of the problems people have been having with the compatibility of my bot since the main issue is the pixel search function... not to mention it will also play the game even while it is minimized... Did i just say that? Since the bot injects the commands directly to the game, and since the memory sniffs will gain in-game information without even looking at the screen, it will be entirely possible to browse the i-net while the bot is doing its thing. This project is new to me and the .dll i am attempting to begin writing has not even been started yet, so keep you pants on and have patience while I do the research thing. You guys/gals will have to stomach the old version of my bot until I figure this out.

I even found locations in the memory that tells Rappelz if you are clicking the mouse.... hmm..... not sure if this is going to be of use to me or not...

I think I know why the bot dont move but say: left - right - down etc. It dont switch to the JT's Rappelz Bot menu. Cause if I press ALT + TAB to the botmenu it clicks on the game and then the bot moves. So maby its a mistake in the script.

In previous versions it does switch to the botmenu but not in version 12.8

this is not the case... I intentionally made it not switch anymore.

OK... an update on my latest progress...

I have found some static pointers that assist me in acquiring in-game information reliably... The static pointer does not point directly to the information, but it does point to a location that is at a static offset of the information I wanted a static pointer for... little more work, but it accomplishes the same goal.

I was able to acquire a reliable static poiter to the following information:
Character Name, JP, HP, MP, Level
Target Name... WOOT!
Summoned Pet Type... Yeti Prime, Orc Junior... etc.

I am going to continue work to find the static pointers for other important information like Target HP/MP, Summoned Pet HP/MP, and Character/Pet/Target positions. I might even go as far as trying to make it read the chat log, but that will be way in the future. After acquiring all of the static pointers to the information I need for the bot... I am going to begin work on creating the .dll that will read the memory locations from the game... I am not sure how easy it is going to be to do this as I have read that injection of the .dll is the hard part... but we will cross that bridge when we get there.

Now the hard part... I have to do some research on how to write a .dll that will read these memory locations. Anyone with knowledge of this please help me... a template would be the greatest help.

*EDIT*
I was able to find more static offsets for other bot-related info today. Now I am reasearching making the .dll to extract this info for my bot... might take a few days.

Target Name Length (= 0 when no target)
Character X and Y pos
Pet HP/MP
Target HP
Target Level
