the pixel search is really fast.... if it does not find anything... it is what you tell it to do when it does find something that is incredibly time consuming.

on the topic of finding mob HP bars... When it finds one you then have to define it so you do not re-detect that one (the HP bars are 102x5 red pixels roughly). And you would need to find everything on the screen so you could fight the targets nearest you. This in my mind negates the idea and puts the TAB mob search back on the floor. Take my script for the wordmaker for example: I am only searching a box that is 200x11 looking for specific solid black pixels 0x000000. Granted I had to add sleep(1) statements to almost every line (because of a problem with Windows XP running the script too fast), but that takes more than 12 seconds to happen easily. I imagine a functional screen search script would be awsome, but in my mind it is not plausible at the moment. I am currently writing a beta for it so i can actually test this and see what kind of speed we can expect out of it.

JT, I just got a chance to see the new bot's ability in action when I finally came across a moon rabbit (funny eh, when you don't want them, they're everywhere, when you're lookin for them, they're nowhere lol), and it selected the moon rabbit first, then tabbed to the next available enemy (awesome!). The only downside was that after that, it got stuck on the moon rabbit, even though there were other mobs in sight (and in distance).

Either way, great strides are being made here, and with the help of the others that have made their voices heard here today, I'm sure we'll get passed this hurdle and many more I'm personally looking forward to what's being cooked up for the next release in terms of the bot moving the character when there's no other mobs in sight :P

The way I am thinking of handling the screen search is:

$FHPbar = PixelSearch(0,y,Xmax,y,0xFF0000,111)
Xmax being 1024 to 1600 depending on your Rappelz resolution

This will detect the first pixel of the red bar. Then you would move on to determining if it is infact a HP bar by the following:

$ISHPbar = PixelSearch($FHPbar[0],y,(FHPbar + 102),y,0xFF0000,111)

If $ISHPbar <> 1 Then
Tooltip("HP Bar found")
Endif

and then you might have to search the rest of that line...

$ISHPbar1 = Pixelsearch($ISHPbar[0],$ISHPbar[1],$Xmax,$ISHPbar[1],0xFF0000,111)

and repeat the "if detected" script. you would then advance a line with:

if $ISHPbar = 1 then
$y = $y + 1
endif

Meaning it would move on to the next y line if nothing was found.

Anyhow - this is my take on the whole thing. It is not a complicated script.

You guys won't believe what I just saw... there was a character running around, and with him was a Moon Rabbit... following him around... as if it was his pet... and he had buffed it somehow... I was shocked... and kinda tempted to PK him lol :P

Sorry, just thought you'd all be interested that with all the work being done here to avoid bot traps, this guy had one FOLLOWING HIM! lol

basically tells you the screen size of that window
that would be a ton easier... but there is a pixel difference between the different operating systems. The method I use actually finds a reference point in the target window and sets several bot variables based on this. It is incredibly accurate and fixed a lot of issues.

Btw, here's another interesting little tidbit about what I've noticed with the latest bot and bot-traps: When it does get stuck on the bot-traps, it appears that it is trying to do something, because the the name of the bottrap (i.e. the text that's displayed at the top centre of the window to display who you're targetting) "shifts" to the left and the back to the right. I don't know if I'm making myself clear enough with the above explanation, so if anyone needs clarification, please let me know

That is it pressing tab... that is a good thing meaning it will change target when one is in range.

The thing about a mob following you has been around ever since they made bot traps. If you want a bot trap to follow you buff it and it will follow you. I used to do this on my Kahuna, I ran around map and collect all bot traps lol, one day GM got really mad at me and told me to stop loll.

Yaa this version work for me too TYVM

My suggestions for my purpose:
I realize that this new version only hit full hp mob and the waiting for mob to die time is a lot shorter.
I use this bot for DP when I afk.
I need it to hit any mobs it tabs on (best if u can make this optional)the full hp mob only is not working for me.
The shorter wait time for mobs to die is great I wanted to tell you about this before, this is exactly what I need.
Please also make looting optional. I am a DD looting is not an option.

I am probably the highest rappelz player on this forum (115 evoker). Let me know if you need anything in game. I am glad to make some donations.

I considered zoning all of them on the north side of Lasky's Anchor one day... I guess I will have to avoid this now.

LOL thanks for the info Gamer485! Any real advantage to doing this, other than ******* off GM's, which I imagine could be fun as well
