Custom status point system to replace the default base attributes given by Rappelz, "status points" are obtained by increasing your Job Level and then can be spent to increase the base attributes.
This system has been reworked and fine tuned to avoid overpowered classes, create a unique build, counter build and fine tune your character stats.
Everyone has missed the value and use of the Tier 1 pets (Pantera, Tortus, Poultry), we have decided to bring back their glory and reworked their belt pet skills making them a viable alternative until you acquire the more expensive and difficult to tame options.
On vortex we now run a dual pet card drop system, we have kept the original pet card drop table where you can find pet cards of any rarity when killing a monster.
However we have also implemented a secondary drop system where monsters additionally drop cards primarily of their own kind, i.e orcs will have a slightly higher chance to drop an orc card.
We have reworked the quest system to work on a percentage basis, making it once again worthwhile to complete quest for those who dont feel like grinding through dungeons so much.
These percentages per rank are as such:
R1 - 10%
R2 - 9%
R3 - 7%
R4 - 5%
R5 - 4%
R6 - 3%
R7 (-160) -> 2%
R7 (160+) -> 1%
The percentage reward is additional and always calculated based on your level when submitting/completing the quest.
We have decided to go with a completely custom system for Lak, allowing us to integrate it further into the game, using it for multiple different means and upgrades.
When starting your Chaos Stone has a maximum capacity of 1000 Lak, this can be increased to a total of +10 level 10 using the Lak your collect. Once reaching above level 150 you are then able to upgrade your Chaos Stone to +20 level 10.
Alongside this we have a custom Lak storage system, allowing you to store upto 500 Million Lak at a default level, this can be upgraded further if you are crazy enough!
For ease and comfort we have also introduced a portable Lak storage and a new Lak Transmitter that allows you to transfer Lak from your necklace directly into the storage without needing to return to town.
Multiple ways of gaining world buffs, including killing special monsters around the world of rappelz, completing other quests and purchasing via gen points system, which you earn by playing and through our custom Ursa.
On Vortex we have multiple world bosses, the first is a boss that spawns every 6 hours, a second boss that spawns every 2 days, each with a separate ranking and rewards system.
We have plans/events and content planned for many more bosses as we progress through the game updates.
We have a custom Daily Quest system which functions as a attendance award too, every day you can receive 1 quest, there is a total possibility of 30 quests a day this resets every month, the rewards change as the player base progresses.
Alongside the Quest rewards, you receive a Vortex Token for successfully completing the daily quests, these tokens can exclusively be used in our new reworked Black Market npc who brings hidden and possibly stolen treasures.
This NPC buys everything you could want to sell such as Dura gear/Non dura gear/Potions and Soul Stones, however she absolutley refuses to take equipment that has been enhanced in anyway or has soul stones in it.
This is a cool NPC that shows the transparency we have in Vortex server with our player base, visit this npc to see exactly what the rates of the server are, who the devs are, which devs are online and also every single player that is online at that current time.
This angel is truly a god send, converting all of your non dura items and soul stones into orbs of Pure energy instantly at a click of a button, which can then easily be donated to the altar for the equivalent altar points
We have reworked the altar rewards and skins to make them alot more worthy of the donations rankings and amounts required. There is also now rewards for the top 10 rankings rather then top 3.

The soul cage is a custom item you receive on character creation, as you kill monsters you store their souls in this item, counting the amount of souls stored and rewarding you as you reach certain mile stones throughout a 24 hour period.
This resets at midnight server time every day.

Website has been corrected, also some event ideas up in suggestions tab in discord for those interested in having their ideas implemented in a server.
The beta starting in next few days will be a closed beta with special rewards (given when server officially opens) for those who participate in the beta. All are welcome and will be given a fair chance to join the beta!

Yes thats correct bro, however this is second and hopefully final beta, official will open soon once everyone is ready, we are determined to open without the usual bugs and issues everyone sees in rappelz lol.
just the usual everyone gets to enjoy when joining a new server at launch, skill tree being bugged, skills not working, gear not working, monsters missing, npc's bugged etc or the famous luna chip skill bug.
we have corrected most already and already and have done 1 small closed beta where we already ran through and fixed majority of issues alongside made a bunch of quality of life changes and added new scripts etc.

Agree, we are working on making the server as stable as we can, we added some special pet skills like a new siren skill, we also balanced characters and added new skills like to the priest was part useless before.
We are currently working on balancing pets, also all buffs and everything else that players on our server get from buff scroll also goes to pets, but if you have some more suggestions, please join discord and post them in the suggestions tab. I will always take a look and appreciate new ideas to add to the game.
