Hello beautiful people! today is the day when LockDown server announces its presence.

So What is it all about?

Server is based on Inks server files 9.x with a bit of a twist of our own.

It's a low/medium rate server that rewards farming and it's all about the trip, not the destination (destination being r7)

No links yet, we doing a bit of internal testing. Will consider opening it for a limited number of people before going live.

I appreciate the fact that you guys are trying something different, and it's not another 9.x custom content fiesta.
I'll definitely check it out when it's available.

This does not make the game any more fun. And it's just another custom change on the classes that no one likes to see.

Just put the buffs on the NPC like everyone wants them and expects them to be.
The game is "kill monsters and get loot". That's THE fun. That's the highlight of the game.

But getting buffs or making slaves is not.
The lack of proper buffs is NOT a feature, it's not something that excites me and make me want to play the game.
It's just a nuisance.

I don't think people are intrested in making buff slaves on a low exp rate server.

there is buffs at npc but low lvl. this buffer char is not meant to be as a custom class to play. its for those people who want to have an competitive edge and have more powerful buffs without need of having to run 3 more clients

GL having people that dont get on the open server WAVE and cant have a decent party to do DP's

guess you missed the part where I said NPC provides low lvl buffs atm its set to +15/65 cleric and +100 huna

The option to merge buffers is just for the people who usualy make slaves.You still need to lvl up the healer,huna and cm to get to second joblvl40 so they have full lvl10 bufs,they al have to be on same account,ones you done you can merge the huna and cm bufs with the healer.The plus for this is you dont need to have 3 or more clients running so its good for the player and server...

yea but that will ruin low lvl gameplay with op buffs. It's not my intention to prevent people from having buff slaves quite the opposite

no they are low lvl only buffs really low lvl only to get ya started not for late game
you can make CM , Huna and then Priest on One account then merge the buffs to the Priest for a all in one buffer is what was said... No op buffs on NPC


Im a tester and thats what it is and will be from Devs when its launched

No one plays Rappelz to enjoy Moonlight dungeon. Also that's not the issue.

After the big first wave of players that join together in server launch, there will be no one farming low level dungeons.

New players (after 2 weeks of server launch) won't find any groups farming low level dungeons, and also they won't find buffs that will allow them to solo farm. So they will just leave.

It's better to "ruin low lvl gameplay" for new players BUT allow them to progress and stay and not leave for being stuck at level 30 with no groups and no buffs and no money.

I dont think you understood well, you DO get buffs from HV buffer. You get CM, Huna and Priest buffs from the NPC but they are level 5 buffs, you also get HV buffs.

With those buffs you are able to solo content and no party is needed but you will level faster with a party.

The server gives you an option to receive max buffs (lvl 10) if you are able to level buffslaves on your same account and then merge them so they are always available on your main char and you dont need to run another acount with Sandboxie or anything, just makes it easier for you.

You dont need to make these buff slaves and get max buffs but if you want a competitive advantage you are able to get better buffs with some effort.
