[Guide]How to Create 9.4 Server !

I´m playing on the official server and would like to test some stuff before investing time and money into creating a character that maybe sucks lategame.

Is it possible to run the current rappelz 9.9 as a private server for myself to test things?

No not really. The most current released server files are 9.5.2

hey all
i got a server working before but now im on a new device and the auth is not connecting or access is denied to it
i think i did everything the same way as before including removing the password from sa
any help is appreciated
the princessauroraserver doesnt seem to produce a log file but this is the text of it

edit: the name of the sql server is SQLEXPRESS if thats helpful
also, didnt do any rules in the firewall, should i?

You are running auth from the same server SQL is installed on?

Did you make sure SQL server services are running from SQL server configuration manager after installation?

yes everything is working as per the guide video

restarting my pc has the auth server running and i can log in but i cant connect to the server
CaptainHerlockServer gives me a "connect to upload failed" error but the upload server has no errors

You can sort that out later

Are you running the client from the same computer or a different one.

im running everything on the new computer including the sql server and all the server stuff and the game client
could windows 11 be causing issues?

So its not until you run the game client that you have issues.

In your bat launcher you pointed the game client to 4502 for the auth port?

in my bat the auth port is 9881
i can log in just fine and the auth server works perfectly its connecting to the game server thats the issue

edit: changing the auth port in the launcher makes it not log in
changing the auth port in the gameserver makes captainherlockserver not respond

edit: with everything set up how it is i can see my server in the server list but trying to join it causes nothing to happen and a message to be displayed in captainherlockserver

There is one address you will need to change from 127.0.0.1 local host for the auth server.

You will have to open the auth and game server ports in windows advanced firewall and perhaps do some port forwarding to your router.

I dont really know all of the specifics, I have only ever run a lan

I finally managed to get it working.

This is my 2nd server setup. I think I founded the first one 10 years ago.

These things get harder as you get older.

Even though you had a very messy and bad explanation, I couldn't have done this without you. Thank you. I hope you get rewarded for your hard work.

Since it all was on video there wasn't really much to be done in writing so i'm glad it worked for you.

there wasn't any reason to why I decided to make guides, it just sounded fun doing it. hence no rewards.
