I compiled all the servers finally got them running and now im getting this error message on the auth server


!!!!! GameServer Message too big "my ip" [id 548, sizeL 21040213]

from what i gather its the wrong sframe, but i compiled the one in the source and can't find anything other than "header.size" around this error message

Client packets do not match the packets the game server is expecting to see.

You are right it could be very well related to the sframe that you are trying to use.

Are you trying to run everything off of the compiled source?

everything but the log server and the chat log server. i didnt think those matter that much but maybe they do..

No they dont really matter but the source is relatively newly released and I dont know much about getting the source running with a client.

It has little to do with this thread however.

People just may not have your answer.

But posting confusing information about source code in an Epic 9.4 release thread does not help people who are trying to find information about setting up epic 9.4.

They get mislead by what you posted about source and confused.

That's all I am saying.

You posted your own thread we have a help thread here for general questions about anything, there is also a release thread for the source you are speaking of where your questions could have been posted.

I am no militant moderator by any means, I am pretty easy going, just in the future lets try and keep posts in relative topics so as to not mislead the masses please.

Hello, for those who can't log (id or password incorrect), i had the same problem and found the fix.
So you can try that :

In SQL (management studio) / databases / Auth / tables / dbo.account (right clik and open "edit all rows" or "edit top 200 rows".

open New Query and copy and paste

INSERT INTO [Auth].[dbo].[Account] ([account_id], [account], [password], [email], [password2], [block], [IP_user], [last_login_server_idx], [Admin], [point], [datePassword], [pk_], [creationDate_], [updateDate_], [creatorId_], [updatorId_], [portId_], [type_], [accessDate_]) VALUES ('5', 'IDAccount', 'PasswordHash', 'atif@localhost', 'mohcen213', '0', '127.0.0.1', '1', '1', '0', '2017-10-20', '1', '2017-10-20 18:56:17.000', '2017-10-20 18:56:21.000', '2017-10-20 18:56:30.000', '2017-10-20 18:56:33.000', 'rappelz', 'rappelz', '0');

Change JUST the RED "IDAccount" (choose an id account), and the RED "PasswordHash" (choose a password for log and use PassWord-Hasher)

exemple: I change "IDAccount" to "ricky12"
I change "PasswordHash" to "morning123", I WRITE "a0d0cf65880735c5c3ba6c4862a3dffb" (because i write "morning123" in PassWord-Hasher)

click on EXECUTE. --> it's ok.
lauch the game and connect with id: ricky12 and mdp: morning123

PS : You change ONLY these two. Don't touch "mohcen213".

For the Empty String, you must export the DB_String to your client with a RDB Tool

And for invisible monster / pet, maybe try to export all other db, it can be the soluce

my dbupdate.exe refuse connect to arcadia
login failled for user 'sa'
i used the same password hash like game_bin and auth_bin
i don't have rappelzcompress in folder, i used the rappelzcompress game_bin (+zdil.dll)
the server work correctly
i do rdupdater when server close and run
with and without password

my dbupdater :
S db.preset_00:Test|127.0.0.1|1433|Arcadia|sa|455600 000300da0086001b46b3

what i can do more please ?

Db Updater.exe ? why not simply use the RDB Tool posted on EPVP ?
